Welcome

3·4·40 Region is a hot air balloon club, one of a number of associations affiliated to the British Balloon and Airship Club (BBAC).

The region is named after the three motorways which pass through it and covers an area including Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire east of Salisbury Plain, and much of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The club has about 80 members, many of whom are balloon pilots, but always welcomes any new members who want to get involved in the sport.

Location

The Dog House Hotel (map) near Frilford Heath have kindly allowed us to use the field next to their pub for this event. Please note that the field still remains private at all other times.

The field is to the right as you look at the pub and has it's own entrance gate.

Note that the the field contains several large rabbit burrows so please be careful when driving.

2pm - Old Balloon Inflation - A chance to air that balloon that hasn't been out of the bag for years and remind yourself what it looks like.

5pm - Cook your own BBQ - The club will provide a BBQ for members to cook their own food on. We will also provide basics like Ketchup.

7pm - Fly out - There will be a briefing at 7pm and you are free to fly out any time after that.
