 Ferrari Funday is organised by members of the Thames Valley Area Group of the Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain and is sponsored by Eurocopter. All proceeds are donated to the Berks Oxon and Bucks Air Ambulance, whose members also assist with the event organisation.
Ferrari Funday 2008 is the third annual holding of the event, the previous two having raised over £50K for the Air Ambulance.
Some of the main attractions in place for this year are:
- Display of Ferraris - over 100 classic & modern typos for you to admire.
- Ride in a Ferrari around the Newbury Showground internal roads with great spectator views of the entire route - plus collect your FREE photocertificate of your ride.
- Ferrari Parade - watch a parade of historic and prestigious Ferraris in action on the road.
- Check-in at the Heliport to see the brand new Eurocopter EC135 Air Ambulance - its first public appearance.
- Tethered hot air balloons.
- Shop till you drop in the Retail Village - a wide range of goods to suit all pockets.
- Visit the Italian Piazza for an authentic taste and flavour of Italy.
- Fun and Games in the Leisure Area. Entertainment for all the family - young or old.
- Eat drink and be merry in the Catering Zone. A wide choice to suit all tastes.
